Youth Service Award 
& George P. Faulkner Annual Citizens Award for Outstanding Service to Youth Award

Each year at the Annual Meeting the Arlington Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors honors Award recipients who exemplify the Mission of the Club:

"Our Mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens."

The Youth Service Award and George P. Faulkner Annual Citizens Award for Outstanding Service to Youth Award will be presented at the 2017 Annual Meeting to be held on Tuesday May 2nd, 2017 at the Boston Marriott in Burlington, MA

Past Faulkner award recipients include: Food Link, Henry Brush, Greg Malatesta and Cindy Sheridan Curran. Past Annual Youth Service Award recipients include: Tano Mejia of AHS, and Francesco Drake of Commonwealth HS.  The Arlington Boys & Girls Club congratultes all past winners for their outstanding service to the community. 
19th Annual Youth Service Award
The Annual Youth Service Award is presented each year by the Arlington Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors to honor a young volunteer who generously gives his/her time to better the lives of others. The Youth Service Award will be presented on May 2nd 2017 at the Annual Meeting. The application is due to the Club by January 31st, 2017. Criteria for Nomination :
  • The recipient must be under 21 years of age
  • This individual should give generously of his/her time and energy volunteering in the community
  • Is a positive role model who provides guidance and support while encouraging others to do the same
  • Instills good morals and promotes good citizenship through his/her volunteer work.

The 2017 George P. Faulkner Annual Citizens Award For Outstanding Service To Youth
The George P. Faulkner Annual Citizens Award for Outstanding Service To Youth is presented each year by the Arlington Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors to recognize an individual or organization whose dedication, vision and service to children and youth have made a difference in the lives of others. This award is named for the former Executive Vice President of the Boys & Girls Club (1954-1990) who had a long and distinguished career working with youth in Arlington. The George P. Faulkner Annual Citizens Award for Outstanding Service To Youth will be presented on May 2nd 2017 at the Annual Meeting. The application is due to the Club by January 31st, 2017. Criteria for Nomination 
  • The recipient(s) must be over 21 years of age
  • This individual or group should have given generously of their time and energy volunteering at a non-profit youth activity or organization
  • Is a positive role model who provides guidance and support while encouraging others to do the same
  • Instills good morals and promotes good citizenship.
