Mentor Program

The Arlington Boys & Girls Club offers a Mentoring Program where an adult mentor is carefully matched with a child in need of support.

Who are we trying to reach through our Mentoring Program?
• Youth members (ages 6 and up) whose behavior warrants individual attention;
• Youths who require additional adult role models in their lives.

What we would like the Mentoring Program to achieve for our young people?
• Learning about different adult role models;
• Experiencing a friendship relationship based on trust and sharing;

What we would like the Mentoring Program to achieve for the Club?
• Link two positive resources;
• Provide direction for the Club’s Alumni Association;
• Involve the Alumni Association in the mission of the Arlington Boys & Girls Club;
• Broaden the base of services the Club offers to its youth members;
• Utilize volunteer resources
