Power Hour Volunteers
Power Hour is a Boys & Girls Club of America homework help program. The program is Monday through Thursday from 2:30 -3:30p.m. We are looking for adults to help one or two days per week. Please contact Lynda Lafratta at llafratta@abglcub.org

Coaching -
-Biddy Basketball: fall/winter/spring coaches needed for Saturday morning games played at 10am and 11am (winter session also includes noontime games). Co-ed teams of members 6, 7 & 8 years old.
-Junior Basketball I: fall/winter/spring coaches needed for games played Thursday nights(5pm or 6pm) or Friday nights (5pm,6pm or 7pm). Co-ed teams of members ages 9 & 10 years old.
-Junior Basketball II: fall /winter/spring coaches needed for games played Thursday nights(5pm or 6pm) or Friday nights (5pm,6pm,7pm or 8pm). Co-ed teams of members ages 11-14 years old.
-Indoor Soccer: winter coaches needed for games played on Saturday afternoons (1pm, 1:45pm or 2:30pm).
Co-ed teams of members ages 9-13 years old.
-Indoor Floor Hockey:spring (March/April) coaches needed for games played on Wednesday nights (5:30pm-7:30pm).
Co-ed teams of members in Grades 3 - 5.
-Lacrosse: fall/winter/spring coaches needed for skills & drills and organized games. Co-ed teams of members ages 6-8 & ages 9-13.
Front Desk Greeter - Greet Club members and check them into the Club computer. Time commitment is 1-2 hours , Tuesday - Friday afternoons from 3pm-5pm. For more information, contact Lynda LaFratta at llafratta@abgclub.org.
Gym Class Assistant -Assist Club staff with skills, drills and organized games in tot (ages 15months- 5.11 years) & youth (ages 6-12 years) gym classes. Classes are held year round in the morning and afternoon.
Classes include tennis, soccer, hockey, t-ball and basketball. For more information, contact John Bowler
Mentor- Serve as a trusted guide, friend and additional rold model to a youth Club member (often a teenager). Time commitment is at least 2 personal face-to-face meetings per month along with weekly or bi-weekly phone or email contact between mentor and mentee. (usually works out to be several hours per month). Along with a criminal background check, a mentor training session and application are required before mentoring relationship begins.
Scoreboard Operator - Operate scoreboard for Club basketball games held on Thursday (5pm-7pm) or Friday (5pm-9pm) nights during fall/winter/spring. For more information, contact John Bowler.
Tot Party Assistant - Assist Club staff in set up, coordination and clean up of Tot Holiday parties at the Club. Time commitment is 3 hours per party.
