Special Events
Our events are more than just gatherings or fundraisers; they are a chance to connect and build our community. From our Fall Family Festival to our Annual Celebration, we rely on dedicated volunteers like you to make these events special. By lending a hand with setup, activities, manning a booth, decorating, or cleanup, you directly contribute to our success. Your support is what makes it all possible.
Please look to the Club's social media for specifics on volunteer opportunities for the Fall Family Festival, Arlington Town Day, Annual Celebration, etc. or shoot an email to Jen Goodwin at jgoodwin@abgclub.org. We would love your help!

Annual Christmas Tree & Wreath Sale
One of the most significant fundraisers that the ABGC hosts is our annual Christmas Tree & Wreath sale. We begin selling wreaths and trees the Saturday after Thanksgiving until the trees sell out which is usually between the 2nd and 3rd weekends of December. The trees are sold on our lot at 60 Pond Lane, Arlington.
We are a 7 day/wk operation during that time fueled by community volunteers. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 3pm-8pm. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 9am-8pm.
We need 3-4 volunteers per shift. Volunteer responsibilities include helping patrons select a tree, keeping the lot clean, replenishing trees, helping patrons secure the tree to their vehicle (if possible). There is always a shift supervisor on the lot or staff in the building so volunteers are never on their own.
The success of this fundraiser is contingent upon the support of volunteers.
The sign up genius will be available in November. Please return here to sign up for a shift. We would be so grateful for your support.
Get Involved
Would you like to share a skill, a talent or a service with the Club or with the Kids? We could use muralists, knitters, photographers, carpenters, musicians, dancers, bakers, etc. to help with projects at the Club or to host a workshop to teach Kids about your craft.
